How we got started…

LouseCalls was formed early 2005

Our daughter’s entire elementary school class was infested with head lice. With a Master’s in Public Health, we dug into the research, and learned everything we could about lice and how to eliminate them. Soon, all the parents in the class began asking us for advice and bringing their children (and other family members) to us for help.

It was amazing the amount of mis-information we heard from the families in our daughter’s class, and how horrified they were that their family had lice. Not to mention the fact that a number of them had started using pesticide based lice shampoos on their children’s heads. Not only are these shampoos dangerous, but they have also been proven to be non-effective due to the fact that lice have become resistant to pesticides over the years. It was apparent that there was a great need for someone to help families with lice by educating them with facts, proven techniques and utilizing safe (all natural) products.

LouseCalls has treated thousands of clients since our humble beginnings.  We have become the trusted source for head lice treatment and removal across South and Central Florida.  LouseCalls has been featured in several news sources for our expertise in the head lice industry. 

We pride ourselves on our client centric and educationally focus services.  However, our true differentiator is our friendly, calming and extremely knowledgable team of head lice technicians. 

LouseCalls continues to grow, continually adding territories and nitpickers. Currently, LouseCalls is Primarily focused on South and Central Florida, including Palm Beach, Broward, Dade, Osceola, Orange and surrounding Counties, Florida (Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Ft.
